Abstract:
Grammy nominated Alan Feinberg is a specialist in contemporary classical music and has premiered over 300 works. The first-ever performance of these works performed on a modern concert grand piano, in this case a Steinway Model D. The music comes from the Elizabethan period (late 16th/early 17th centuries) and essentially represents the earliest virtuoso keyboard works written.
