Abstract:
After review of previous editions of the standards, the decision was made to streamline them by removing the procedural information, and providing a clear framework for service provision. This resulting document incorporated many stylistic changes, and provides clear and useful descriptions, allowing for flexibility, creativity, and innovation as network libraries determine best practices for their patrons and the community they serve.
